Staples Canada wanted to increase their market share in technology products and services for the SME market.
Ideaction created a team representing all the major stakeholders in the issue. Over four months, the team applied a rigorous process to understand what SMEs wanted when they bought technology and, more importantly, how they wanted to buy it. The team then developed an innovative model that was tested in multiple stores.
The result was a new model that, directly and indirectly, fundamentally changed how technology is sold to SMEs in Staples Canada stores.
